FaceID - A Need in New Smartphones
Hi! Your Tech Master Ak Srivastava here. Here's the mega question - what's FaceID? Which company was the first to put it in a smartphone? Let me tell the answers. FaceID is a new and evolving technology in the front cameras of a smartphone to unlock it. Samsung started this in 2013, by releasing the Samsung Galaxy Grand. You might be thinking "A 2013 smartphone with FaceID? Impossible!" Nope, it is true. I have the Galaxy Grand, and it does have the FaceID. But then, they ditched this feature as no one was really using it. Then, Apple reintroduced this feature in the iPhone X, and then it is easy to understand - all companies started to use this feature in their smartphones, including Samsung. Every new phone nowadays has FaceID. In the Galaxy Grand, it wasn't like the new 3D Face scanner, opening your mobile by without even touching the power button or anything. You have to press the power button, then align your face in the dots that show in the camera layout. Then your phone will unlock.
