Google Pixel 7 Pro - A Beauty of a Phone
I myself love to use Android a lot more compared to iOS, and it shows a lot more when you'd know that I bought myself a Google Pixel 7 Pro on the same day that it launched and that I've kept it like a baby. So, here's the review of the Pixel 7 Pro that I've used over the course of almost 2 years.
Specs
Starting off with the specs, it's got Google's in house chip, known as the Google Tensor G2, and the model I have comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Coming to the cameras, it's got 4 in total, with 3 of them being on the back and one in the front. Starting with the big ones, it's got a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and laser and multi directional phase detection auto focus, and with software you can zoom up to 2x on the same camera without losing any quality. Then, it also has a 48MP telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom that can zoom to 10x without losing any quality, and has a maximum zoom of 30x, with this sensor also having optical image stabilization and laser and multi directional phase detection auto focus. Finally, the phone also has a 12MP ultrawide camera with a 126˚ field of view and it also has auto focus.
My Experience
My experience with the phone has been incredible, as I have found to love Android a lot more than iOS, including the UI design and the amount of options that Android can present you with. Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate iOS as an operating system, just that I personally prefer Android, and with this phone, it just made me completely fall in love with it. Whenever I pick up the phone without its case, it feels so nice to just hold it in my hand, with the curved glass back and the curved screen that I can simply glide my fingers across, everything just feels so nice compared to the new completely boxy design of the new iPhones. During the time that I've had this phone, I mostly use it to consume social media, text my friends, and occasionally play some games, and for simple stuff like that, it's incredible. Through the past couple of weeks, I went on a road trip, so the use cases increased to also include navigation on Android Auto with music playing, and the phone did overheat quite a few times due to the navigation. Aside from navigation, the battery life on my unit has been incredible over the time that I've used it, with it easily ending a day with over 20% of battery.
